there’s a warner brothers movie called quest for camelot that i’ve always loved. i’m kinda a bit obsessed with that time period…there’s just something about that time in history that i find myself captivated by. in that movie, there’s song with one of my all time favorite lines. “look at the sky, tell me what do you see? just close your eyes and describe it to me.” i absolutely adore that line. seeing things from other people’s point of view, asking them what they’re thinking, how they see the world, it’s why i love writing, it’s why i love photography, it’s why i follow about 25 different blogs that suck up about 3 hours out of my day.
recently i had the opportunity to second shoot for lauren kinsey photography and having that chance to look at a wedding day through her eyes was truly enlightening but a little bittersweet. i watched as lauren interacted with her bride and groom and i craved to know them, to know their story. as i watched them through my lens, i couldn’t help but wonder what their world was, how they saw the sky, how they saw each other, how they saw love. i don’t think i truly grasped how much that point of view is important to me.
dwell in possibility…
