I grew up with stories of wonder, fairytale and the power of make believe. My nose constantly stuck in a book, how I saw the world was quietly shaped through imagination of lands long forgotten and love stories beautifully crafted. I began to see the world not just as it is, but what it could be - the wonder and beauty interwoven into it all - romanticizing the little moments, infusing a little bit of magic wherever I could.
It's been nearly two decades now years now of creating cherished memories and capturing dreams to build a future on and each year behind the camera brings about even more of a love of story.
I believe in love. I believe in marriage. I believe that there is beauty found in the most quiet of moments…the in between that holds so much emotion. In 2008, I picked up a camera and filed a business license. Inspired by my own wedding photographers, I was enamored with the idea of working within “the wedding world”, getting to relive the emotion of my own wedding day over and over again. At the encouragement of my husband, I followed that calling and never looked back. Nearly two decades later I still get butterflies every time I pick up my camera, eager to create something magical.

January '26: Launched the all new Olimb Photography with renewed vision, passion, and goals for the future. No longer measuring success by standards that don't align with my values and stepping into a confidence I've never had in myself before.
Venturing to look back at a few key moments in the history of Olimb Photography.
October '24: Attended an AMV Retreat in France. After nearly two decades in business, being alone in another country soley focused on my work drastically altered the course of my business. The things I learned as a result from this trip were hard fought! But gold is refined in the fire and I cannot wait to see the beauty that's revealed in this next season for Olimb Photography.
July '08: Took a leap of faith and began Olimb Photography with a film camera and zero know-how. Just a prayer and a dream of what could be. Two years later I finally photographed my first wedding.
March '22: A difficult turning point for me. A few years prior, I slowly began to notice a trend: bookings were slowing and I wrestled with feeling like I was irrelevant. After a hard season of postpartum and an even harder season of parenting I can look back now and see that time without being busy with weddings was a gift from the Lord, a protection for my focus and energies to be where they were needed most: HOME
2012 - 2016: The busiest season for Olimb Photography! I had the pleasure of working with nearly every major planner in the area at the time, multiple venues and even an incredible circus themed wedding! What I wouldn't give to relive that wedding with the expertise and equipment I have now!
