I was nervous…it’s actually hard to admit just how nervous I was. Perhaps it’s because I was trying something new, perhaps it was because it was the first shoot of the season, or maybe it was just because I wanted so badly for this shoot that I had pictured in my head for weeks to really reflect this sweet couple – to not be cookie cutter…to be so incredibly them.
I have a special place in my heart for high school sweethearts. There’s something about choosing the person you want to walk through in life, grabbing their hand and saying “I will walk with you” that no matter the journey just makes me believe all the more in the incredible power of love. The more I have gotten to know Amy and Chris and hear their story, how they met, how their love for one another took wind while sitting under a bridge near the water, the more I cannot wait to watch them say their “I dos”.

I mean seriously, come on! This girl was rockin that hat. And please tell me I’m not the only one that had to do a Lauren Conrad double take!

Someone once reviewed my work and critiqued that I “cut people’s heads off” to which I nodded. Yup! I totally do…because there’s something about this sort of image that just – I dunno, it shows that these two are so completely wrapped up in one another!
