joy. laughter. encouragement. passion. it’s all contagious. i dont know if you’ve noticed that, but it is! if you have it, those around you seem to catch onto it. if your friend shows it, you find yourself radiating it right back at them. this time of year, it’s easy to get carried away. it’s so easy to allow the remaining days before the start of a new year to overwhelm you and overshadow your joy, your passion, your laughter, your heart…
so, while blogs remain unwritten, my to do list seems longer than my completed list and my calendar becomes freakishly crowded, i’m thankful. i’m thankful that the joy of my friends, the laughter of a child, the encouragement of a loved one, the passion of a fellow believer all root me in the moment and refocus my heart. i’m thankful that it’s contagious.
psalm 1:1-3 “blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law he meditates day and night. he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whos leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper.”
