the thing i remember most is the way they seemed connected throughout the entirety of the day. even when they were apart, bustling dresses, pinning boutonnieres, laughing with friends and family, erin and andy were tethered together by their love for one another. as one, the two have a calmness that’s contagious. it’s a sort of calm that comes on a stormy day; the kind of calm that makes the world seem as if it’s stopped spinning.
as he tugged on his sleeves, shifted his weight and nervously bit at his lip, i watched as that tether seemed to be the only thing holding him to the ground. in that same moment, that same tether drew erin to him. in that same moment, it drew her towards the man that holds her heart in his hands. she started out slow, steadily placing one foot in front of the other as a smile radiated from her face as she came to a stop a breath away. placing her hands around his waist, erin practically glowed. and andy? well, andy took her in with all that he had and the world melted away.
erin and andy, from the bottom of our hearts thank you! thank you for choosing us to be a part of your day together. being with your family and your friends, hearing the ways in which you have loved and been loved in return has inspired us to love harder, love deeper and to never every take one another for granted.
