i think my jaw actually hit the desk. i mean seriously, i was holding my emerald coast coffee cup and i’m still incredibly surprised i didnt drop it all over the keyboard. after i recovered, i closed my mouth, placed my coffee a good distance away from anything that would ruin if spilled on and looked on in awe again.
i never really understood all the google analytics, reader, feeds, rss options, alerts, i didnt get it; i didnt really understand what it had to offer or how to use it. and if i’m being honest, i’m totally the type that thinks if it’s not broken, why fix it? which um, is lazy speak for i dont want to take the time to figure this out and i tend to go through life using old programs, old filing systems, etc. simply because it works for me. which would be why i’m still using an hp instead of jumping on the apple/mac bandwagon. when andrew and i set up everything with spilled milk designs and show it, i mentioned that i was interested in seeing the statistics of people vising my site and blog. rachael graciously set everything up for me and then *poof* i forgot about it. until today…
today i logged into my google analytics…and my jaw dropped. i’m not going to sit here and tell you my stats or gloat or fret about how i stand up to other photographers stats but i’ll tell you now that i was genuinely shocked. i never imagined the amount of page views and visitors and the percentages that showed up on my screen. i’m still staring at them in awe. i’m in awe. i’m in awe of how my Provider has incredibly gone above and beyond in our business time and time again. every time He does it i have to admit i think to myself that was incredible and surely this is a one time thing and yet time and time again, He proves me wrong. He gives us just enough and then just above and then, on occasion, when we least expect it, goes insanely far beyond expectations right into my daydreaming hopes.
so thank you. thank you for being an amazing tool that shows me time and time again that my adoring Creator – He’s greater than my expectations, that He doesnt disappoint, and that He loves to show me great things and surprise me with fulfilling a wish or a hope or a dream. so thank you, a thousand times over!
dwell in possibility…
