Mariko and Kyle: Eden State Park Engagement

Rarely did I ever find myself attracted to black and white photos. I’m not sure why but there was just something about color that always captivated me. As I honed my editing skills, I somehow managed to get it into my head that black and white photos were reserved for images that just didn’t look right in color. And while I suppose part of that is true {photographers out there cringing that I admitted that!} I’m starting to see that there is something magical and extremely romantic about a grainy black and white image.

I used to fear that if I posted a lot of black and white images, I would be mocked or thought less of as a photographer. But you know, who cares! What would you do if you could truly didn’t care, if you could convince yourself to, to borrow a quote from a well known industry professional, “feel the fear and do it anyway”?
