The Rhoads: Niceville Family Photos

The baby bug. You know it when you see it, it’s written all over young women’s faces as they see an adorable baby or hold a small child. Their face lights up and their voices go up an octave or two and it’s as if suddenly their entire focus is on that tiny little pudgy baby in their arms. I’ve never been one with much of a baby bug. In fact, I will go as far to say that I always felt like little kids just didn’t like me much. I would blame my coloring: the dark hair and eyes and slightly sharp features probably freaks out little babies because all they do to me is stare at me with anxious, almost fearful faces. There have been few exceptions to this rule…one such exception is little Miss Josephine Joy.

I mean, come on now! This little kid is seriously adorable and bonus points, loves me!

Hannah is one of those pregnant women who is just stunning pregnant. It’s as if she gets prettier and prettier with every pregnancy!

Hannah and Adam have been in our lives for quite some time now and Andrew and I have been able to watch their little family grow. And oddly, Josie loves us. Well, okay so it’s not odd, kids love Andrew – it’s a hereditary trait from his father that we call being a baby whisperer. Put a child in Andrew’s dad’s arms and that child suddenly becomes a perfectly content angel…and Andrew, we’ve discovered, has inherited this. As Hannah and Adam prepare to welcome their second little girl into the world, they took one last time as a family of three to get in front of our camera. And now, we’re all just awaiting on little number four!
