there are moments during a wedding day, when the world holds still. moments when the groom sees his bride for the first time and tears flow from his eyes, moments when the bride squeezes her dads hand one last time before she reaches for her groom, moments when a voice catches or a chin trembles, those moments are intimate and those moments are what make the wedding precious.
the engagement began with a walk. hand in hand, they walked towards their future together. as jacquelyn walked towards clay, her arm intertwined with her father the world stood still. their eyes locked on one another and as i watched clay begin to cry the closer the love of his life became, the more it was clear he wanted to grab her in his arms and never let go. at the words i do, with hands laced together, jacquelyn and clay had no intention of ever letting go. as husband and wife, they walked forward – forward to their forever.
