us in action: 2011

there are certain parts of our business that are are just a few of our favorite things throughout the year. one of those things is being able to look back at the end of the year at everything we’ve accomplished, seeing how our shooting style has developed and changed, remembering our clients and how incredible they’ve been to us, and of course, to post the images of andrew and myself working behind the lens throughout the year.

the boy makes for a very good dress fluffer…dont you think? yeah, i think so too. i’ve trained him well!

and then there is this face. it shows up often…very, very often. it’s like a squished duck and it makes me smile.

my brother worked catering for one of the weddings we had this year. i gave him a hard time everytime i saw him. and made sure to get a photo with him, you know, to embarrass him as his big sister and all.

sometimes i get a little distracted by pretty things.

before megan left for her adventure across the states, she was my second/third shooter. she’s a pretty awesome one and i seriously miss her face a lot.

rain on the forecast? no fear, andrew is also awesome with an umbrella!

brides who supply sour patch kids and insist i eat a bag or two rock my socks off. i kinda have a thing for sour patch kids…

dont ask…just, dont ask.

everything within me wanted to delete this photo. i dont know what i’m doing. andrew cant stop laughing when he sees this. he says this is how i look every time i direct a bridal party…

a stop at starbucks before the wedding ceremony? why yes, yes we can join you for that!

photo instantly ruined…great job there on that one andrew.

to the left, me ruining a photo and to the right, andrew…although, i’m not sure if he’s looking for a memory card or a sedative for my energy levels that day.

favorite photo ever…

and this is what happens when the groom drags us to the dance floor and insists we not leave for at least two songs. andrew’s impression of journey comes out and he suddenly thinks he’s a rock star.

the things i make him do for an awesome ring shot…

why yes, i play hide a seek with small children on occasion.

here’s to 2012 and more embarrassing photos, funny faces, and awkward poses from behind the lens.

dwell in possibility…

You cannot know how much I loved looking through all of these. Some of them even had memories for me, too! I echo Lisa—probably my favorite post ever.
